How it works

1. Memorize. The pieces show for a few seconds, then fade out. Every piece can capture every other — colour doesn't matter here.
2. Capture. On the blank board, click the attacker and then the square it takes on.
3. Track the drift. One piece then moves: for a moment its starting square lights dimly and its landing square brightly. Update the board in your head — it can be any legal move, so long as a capture still exists afterwards.
4. Down to one. Keep capturing until a single piece is left. A wrong guess breaks your chain but not the round.

Squares can also be typed — d4 then f5. Esc clears a selection, N starts a new round.
